The acquisition and installation of first Aquillion One CT scanner in South Asia means that Sri Lanka and Nawaloka Hospital are in the forefront of diagnostic technology regionally.
The scanner has been heralded throughout the medical world, as a #amp;quot;revolution#amp;quot; in Computed Tomography (CT) and can scan an entire organ in one rotation meaning that a complete examination can be conducted in 350 milliseconds.
The procedure enables to determine blockages in arteries and it will also be beneficial for those who have undergone stenting or bypass.
